W Scientific provides patented ultra-high bandwidth digitizing solutions based on Time Stretcher (TiSER) technology. In order to achieve this, W Scientific technology is divided into several categories:

The Photonic Front-end Processor (PFP) performs “time-stretching” of the input RF signal and converts the stretched optical signal to the electrical signal, which is then sampled by the electronic digitizer. 

W Scientific is also developing a unique ultra-wide bandwidth digitizer.  The combination of the photonic time-stretching and electronic digitization provides unprecedented sampling capability with lower power consumption than traditional electronic-only approaches.

Together, W Scientific has developed the world's first 40 GHz Real Time Digitizer using TiSER technology.
